Broadwindsor Craft Centre
Showroom & Workshop
Simon is delighted to have recently joined the Broadwindsor Craft Centre. In the Attic Gallery Simon enjoys creating handmade wooden furniture and smaller curiosities. Simon particularly like to make items using contrasting coloured woods and has plans to produce individual free standing pieces made from solid hardwood, both offered individually for sale and as examples of the kind of bespoke furniture that customers can request as commissions based on their own tastes and requirements. At present in the showroom Simon has several pieces, showcased in the pictures below, these include some small boxes made from maple with walnut, and padauk with wenge. The bookcase is made from maple veneered MDF and solid maple, with a front veneer of silky oak surrounded by a string of wenge. The little side table is cherry. The three drawer desk is made from maple and walnut and finished with a high gloss wax. Simon looks forward to meeting visitors and discussing any projects that may be of interest, be sure to pop by and take a look!Contact Simon
